Robin McKenna received his Bachelor of Architectural Science from Ryerson University, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto. Robin approaches the practice of architecture through his unique experience working with non-profit organizations, and construction. He strives to integrate his keen sense of proportion in design and materiality with sound building science, sustainable design practices, efficiency, and a wealth of hands-on construction experience and management to successfully deliver well-executed projects.
Robin provides a high-level of service to clients, and is eager to use his problem-solving skills at all scales to contribute to the design of city-making, while creating placeness and community.
Since joining JCI, he has taken on leadership roles on numerous local projects ranging in scale from single family homes to multi-unit residential and community master planning. Working with both internal and external team members, he takes a holistic approach to design and process to ensure a successful transition from concept through to occupancy.
